Django Wexler invites us back into the story of siblings Gyre and Maya with another epic fantasy adventure story in Blood of The Chosen. I have to say I found this read just as engaging and fun to read as it’s predecessor Ashes of The Sun. If you’re looking for a solid fantasy series to dip into, you won’t go wrong with the Burningblade & Silvereye.

Book Review: Ashes of The Sun
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Ashes of The Sun. I’d never read a Django Wexler story before. I knew from the book blurb that it was one of those siblings on opposite sides of a conflict tropes but that was about it. What I didn’t expect was Star Wars. Yep…Star Wars…just not in space. Book Haul: March 2020
It’s time for another Book Haul post. One of my blogging goals for 2020 is to be to be more intentional about Book Haul posts. I’m aware that it’s possible nobody cares about the books I’ve bought or received, but I kinda like when bloggers post these because it not only puts new books in front of my eyeballs that I might not be aware of, but they also give me an idea of the blogger’s tastes. For my purposes a Book Haul post can include any book I’ve come to possess, not just those I buy, so arcs requested or just sent from publishers will be listed as well. Continue reading
