Self-Published Fantasy Month 2019 is over. While I admit I’m a little sad about that fact, I must also say I was pleased with how it went, mostly because unlike last year I was able to finish it. Here’s a quick recap of the month.

Angela Boord’s Renaissance inspired debut is simply fantastic. A character driven tale of mystery, political intrigue, warring noble houses, and a woman at the center of it all who will stop at nothing until the wrong done to her is avenged. Big gobs of Revenge and political intrigue are what’s on the menu in T.A. Frost’s Up To The Throne. Frost sets his story in a dark late Renaissance/Reformation era setting with steampunk elements. While many of his tropes are rehashes of the usual fare, there are some noteworthy elements and the main character is compelling and engaging.
